Vile Deacon and Chandra Nalaar

Not much to say about these, we've been really busy and I have been enjoying Diablo 2 again. :)

First up is one of my favorite pieces from Legions. I couldn't find a high quality version online so I scanned it. doesn't look too bad I think. Vile Deacon by Matthew D. Wilson.

This next one is a preview I think from Shards of Alara of Chandra Nalaar by Kev Walker. I have others I am sitting on that need to be made too. I hope I can get them done this weekend. :D

No links to it because there aren't any yet. I don't even know what card this will be on!

Magic and Olympics

What a busy week. My dog got out and got injured, tons of school work, and just all sorts of stuff! I also found out that itunes was messing up my comp so I deleted it. :( Anyway here are some more wallpapers.

Auriok Champion from Fifth Dawn by Mike Sutfin.
Muriok Scavenger from Mirrodin scanned from the card by Puddnhead.

Some fantastic photos from the Olympic Games. These are all from day 5. I hope to make another one too. Request from my wife. :)

Too much free time without WoW

I've procrastinated posting the following long enough.

The above artwork was done by Terese Neilsen. The artwork can be found on her blog [Fett, Talon, Luke] or on her deviantart page.

Mother Misery by Glenn Rane. Fertility at the Moonwell found on the Blizzard fan art site.

Bramblewood Paragon by Jim Murray. Red-Hot Hottie by Jeremy Jarvis. In honor of Unhinged, the wallpaper of Red-Hot Hottie flows outside its borders. The top portion is clear. :)

Evershrike by Dan Dos Santos.
Tattered Drake by Glenn Fabry. The art was taken from a card image. This wallpaper was done while I was falling asleep. In fact I barely remember making it. Came out quite well for sleeping through its production. I only had to make one text change to it when I awoke. I had added from flavor text that wasn't on the card.

Mirrodin art found on magicthegathering.com. Shadowmoor landscape by Brandon Kitkouski. Mural Mountain Island

Five brand new wallpapers based on common card themes.
Below are updates to previous wallpapers.

Scanned Card Wallpapers

Just posting 5 of the 2 dozen or so Ihave waiting. I couldn't find high quality examples of these on the web so I scanned the cards into the computer and voila!
You can find the cards by name in the Gatherer. So, sorray about the low quality. :D Enjoy! (and yes I own these cards.)

MSE

A quick note before I go to bed.
I found a great tool for making your own Magic cards. Great for messing around or to update cards with current oracle text. It is found here: http://magicseteditor.sourceforge.net/welcome Enjoy it if you wish. I just hope that it isn't shut down like another one I was reading about in their forums.

Welcome to Alcatraz!

Welcome to Alcatraz!
When my wife and I went to her brother's college graduation we bought these cute little t-shirts for the kids she watches.
Reaper King by Jim Murray. The original art for the Simic Signet by Greg Hildebrandt.

Terese Nielsen is one of my favorite Magic artists. I couldn't help making three versions of her art for Stalking Tiger. I think it is either this or King Cheetah that is my favorite work of art from the game.
In my last post I said I'd come up with something for Kamigawa. Here is the one I made for Champions, but I am have trouble deciding on what to do for the other two expansions. The artwork here is found in various locations on http://www.magicthegathering.com/

Excited about Eventide? I am...a little. lol I love the artwork and when I was able to do the puzzles I was disappointed that the wallpapers didn't include the whol thing (or at least what is veiwable on the cards). I took screenshots of the completed puzzle, and expanded them into these wallpapers here.
Jim Murray I found out did this one. Awesome isn't it. All I did was add his name to the already completed wallpaper.

Woot! More card wallpapers! The guildmage wallpaper is an update from the one I made before. Legendary Cats is an update too. The qoute is from the original version of Savannah Lions. And lastly two new card themed wallpapers. The qoute on Crocodiles can be found here: Spiritual Crocodiles. The one on Rabbits is from Monty Python and the Holy grail.
